Disaster Wedding Cake and Catering
To start, my wife and I loved Ettore's. We would eat their all the time and were convinced their bakery was the best Sacramento had to offer. When we started to plan our wedding they were the obvious choice. They were the most expensive catering service, but we wanted the best. We were sold on the amazing sample dinner and cake tasting. What a huge mistake. They showed up late to my wedding. The person managing the 20 people we hired was unprofessional and down right rude. Did I mention they didn't bake the wedding cake!!! That's right, they showed up without the wedding cake we ordered! I had to tell my new Bride that Ettore's had neglected to bake her dream wedding cake. No Groom should ever have to tell his Bride that she was forgotten. She had to excuse herself from the wedding reception because she was in tears. No apologizes, no refund (the cake was part of the total package), no sympathy, just attitude from the head chef. In the end, the food was served cold and we had a pigmy wedding cake they prepared at the last moment. Avoid Ettore's. They will say anything to sell you and disappoint you in the end. We paid over $12,000 for the catering, food, employees, and a cake. I would have been better off ordering pizza for 120 people from BJ's Restaurant and baking our own wedding cake. Ettore's ruined my wedding.

BAD SERVICE ( ALEXA)
I always get cakes from ettore's for every birthdays we have in our family, because it is the best, but I called in to order a cake from ettore's today and I got the worse customer service ever from the manager (ALEXA). She did not seem to be happy to answer the phone and take orders, she stated they were having " Problems"...Very rude and unprofesional way. She never even took my order, but hung up the phone and told me to call back tomorrow...

Ettore's never fails to disappoint. The food is always great, but I have to admit I go there for the desserts. The napoleons are so good, but the kahlua cake knocks my socks off. The staff is always sweet and friendly and the atmosphere is quaint.

This place is probably the finest in Sacramento. Small personalize restaurant where the Chef prepares every item. The menu is changed weekly and is online. The pricing is $25 to $35 with salad or appetizers at about $8 to $15 each. This is fine dining with the largest wine selection in the city. It is only open Wed thru Sun so check online and please try this. The food is gourmet.
