4. Megami Bento-Ya Restaurant

If this is considered good sushi, Sacramento is screwed! Nothing at this hole-in-the-wall establishment says "I'm the best" anything. The sushi fell apart when it touched soy sauce and is terribly over-priced. It pains me to say, if you want good sushi, go to Chicago and learn how to make it, then come back and teach the chef at this place how to make it. BOTTOM LINE: Don't waste your money at this dump.

I love everything about Megami! The owner always makes you feel welcome, the ambience is funky and comfy, the food is great, large portions and really tasty! The sushi rolls are innovative without over doing it, and the prices are excellent!

Want a good experience of quality Japanese food this is the place. The owner 'Allen' Personally makes all of the sushi which is to die for. My Favorite Dish is Chicken Yakiniku w/mondo sauce. MMMMM Good! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Megami's has the best Japanese food in town. Always fresh sushi and the combo plates are to die for.
