Probably one of the area's most secluded beaches, this is a nice choice if you enjoy privacy. To reach Plage de la Briande involves a ninety-minute stroll along the coastal path, but the scenery is pleasant. The water is tranquil, and the sand is inviting.

This is another of Saint-Tropez's trendy beach spots. With a shoreline of bathers and white sand, this beach remains busy and energetic with its flock of sun worshippers and many cafés. The locals call it decadent because this stretch of sand can be both exciting and an eye-opener. It is located about three miles from city center.

Located on the northern side of Pampelonne, this beach is hot, Hot, HOT! A favorite of the rich and famous, Plage de Tahiti is a fashionable haven dotted with cafés and trendy restaurants. This strip of beach, which has luxurious golden sand, is also the place to go if you want to sunbath topless or in the buff.

Located outside Saint-Tropez proper, this beach is slightly over six miles away. Reachable by bike ride, Plage des Salins is usually crowded. There is a parking lot available. Come early to scout a good sunning spot.

This coastal walk allows a glimpse into the bays and rocky paths that accent the Saint-Tropez shoreline. Sentier du littoral, which is over 18 miles long, is a pleasant hike. The trip takes several hours by foot, but it is worth the time and effort. A bus that returns to the city is available when you get into Ramatuelle.
