5. Utah Heritage Foundation

Since 1966, this foundation has sought to preserve Utah's rich sense of heritage and tradition by maintaining and protecting some of the state's truest treasures. The Utah Heritage Foundation offers a range of tours in the Salt Lake City area, most of them including the city's older neighborhoods and some of its more unique homes. The group also conducts regular guided tours of downtown historic sites, including the County Building, Kearns Mansion, Meditation Chapel, and Keith Mansion. Tours for groups of 20 or more must be arranged two weeks in advance.   (© 10Best)
