6. Days of '47

The Buzz -- Numerous venues in and around Salt Lake City host events throughout July to commemorate the arrival of pioneers in 1847. Among the festivities are the All Horse Parade, Pioneer Festival, a rodeo, and the incredible Days of '47 Parade. An art show, concerts, a marathon, and many other events round out the offerings. Most events are free, but call ahead.
