Today, July 25th, my wife and I ate here - for the last time. There were 5 or 6 employees "working", but nobody except our waitress was actually doing anything. Everybody else was standing around talking and not even trying to help out. She was waiting on every single table, taking orders, and doing everything all without any help. When customers left the restaruant, their tables would go left uncleaned, with all the dirty dishes and leftover food just sitting there. The food was extremely slow getting there and the service was sub par - one person can only do so much. This is absolutely not our waitress's fault, since she was essentially running the place, still composed and keeping a smile on her face. My wife substituted vegetables for french fries, and that was prepared inaccurately, as her food came with french fries anyway. Our waitress apologized and had the cook make some vegetables, but that took over a half hour, and by that time, our patience was gone and we were no longer hungry. We were amazed that all the hired help was just taking up space and not making any effort whatsoever to do anything. We were told that the other waitresses were "on break". There is simply no excuse for this. Perhaps the worst part of it all was this: We asked to speak to the lead manager on duty. It took her almost 10 minutes to appear from somewhere. When we told her how angry and frustrated we were, she was at a loss for words, didn't seem at all horrified or appalled at her staff, and only said she was sorry. She made no effort whatsoever to ask what she could do to take care of us, or make our dining experience any better. She made no apologies for her staff or any acknowlegements that this should have never happened. We then walked out and will not set foot in this restaurant again.
