One of the area's favorite country-western dance clubs, the spacious Westerner is the place to wear your jeans, big buckle, leather boots, and hat. Patrons here love their line dancing, and it's not uncommon for the large dance floor to overflow with toe-kicking revelers who know the words to all the songs. If dancing isn't your thing, a couple of pool tables in the back offer a nice (if competitive) alternative. The kitchen produces some pretty tasty grilled sandwiches too – great for a late-night snack.

Don't miss out!
I have been going to the Westerner for a few years. Its my favorite bar..The line dancing is awesome..its mostly packed on Saturday nights if you like big crowds..if you like to karaoki, it has its own private room with tables and chairs and a stage with a sliding glass door. The best night to karaoki "if" you want to sing alot is on friday nights cuz its less packed in there. But if you don't mind Saturdays...you have larger audiences but you'll only expect to sing once or twice. They play both country and hip hop..Saturday nights usually have a band, but they work both in equally. Its a great place to sit down and socialize with friends.. TONS of tables so there's plenty of room for big crowds of friends and a LARGE dance floor. I go every year for the halloween dress up party! Tons of swing dancin and line dancin...and three different places to buy drinks...they have a coat check that is free..ifor when its cold and you don't wanna freeze on your way in from the parkinglot..(very convenient) they are open for requests too..so try it out!!!

Heard about this old time country club in SLC that we had to check out and was happy we did. The whole place is one big party. Everyone is your best friend from right when you first walk in the door. Dancing has not ever been more fun.

I love this club. I come here once a year, and see people I have known for the past 10 years. Just wish there were more cowboys who knew how to 2 step and be there on Thursday nights.
