DOWNTOWN.   Touted as one of Salt Lake City's finest restaurants, the New Yorker takes pride in its double-pronged focus on understated sophistication and superb service. The menu is American with a Continental slant, and specialties include sweetbreads, Dungeness crab cakes, and rack of lamb. USDA Prime steaks are also delectable, and lunch is popular with the business set.
