10. Vosen's Bread Paradise

DOWNTOWN.   Vosen's specializes in amazing baked goods, many of which have a German slant thanks to master baker Markus Vosen, its German-born owner. Offering items like soft pretzels, streusels, plunderschneckes, and French, onion, and walnut baguettes, the bakery also serves terrific seasonal goodies, like christstollens and zimtsternes (yuletide cinnamon stars), strawberry tartlets (summer), and plum pies (autumn).   (© 10Best)
