DOWNTOWN.   This open-air center, with its striking, welcoming architecture and tree-studded courtyards, is a regional shoppers' paradise. Resident stores suit just about anybody's taste and include Barnes & Noble, Build A Bear Workshop, Brookstone, Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, and Victoria's Secret. The upscale Gateway also boasts an excellent food court that's a great place to cool your heels and do a little people-watching. Among the center's more popular attractions are the historic Union Pacific Depot and Olympic Legacy Plaza.   (© 10Best)

It's a one of a kind mall...at least in Utah. The "open-air" shopping is pretty unique to Salt Lake City and is a lot of fun year round, even in the winter. Along with all the great retailers, there's also some great dining. Swing by if you are in Salt Lake!
