5. Glockenspiel

The renowned 18th century carillon features 35 bells and is situated atop the Residenz Neubau, which is the government palace. The chimes sound several times each day, usually in the form of music by Mozart, Haydn and other classical composers. Locals and visitors alike enjoy hearing the chimes while relaxing at one of the nearby cafés. The interior is open to the public.   (© 10Best)
