DOWNTOWN.
This park was formerly the site of the World's Fair and is currently home to the imposing Tower of the Americas, which offers both an observation deck and a restaurant. The Institute of Texan Cultures can also be found onsite, and the lush grounds boast beautiful water features and lovely landscaping. A playground numbers among the park's attractions as well. Ideal for a break from the day or for relaxing in the sunshine.

It's a pretty park and a great place to take pictures. If you are new to Texas, go in the morning when it is cool. The gardens there are nice to walk around and there is an awesome playground for the kiddos. The park is well kept and if you are looking to go inside there is the Tower of the Americas as well as Cultural Institutes to visit. You will have to pay for parking from what it looked like. So walk there or stay close by if you don't like paying for parking. Very nice park!
