RIVER WALK.   Need a change from Tex-Mex? Durty Nellie's approximation of an Irish pub might just do the trick. Follow the sounds of a well-belted (and perhaps slightly off-color) Irish ditty up the River Walk and you'll soon be ensconced in the genial, lively atmosphere of this bar. i was there in 2002 or/3, and the article makes it sound unchanged. eat p-nuts and toss the shells down. drink beer and sing along with the crowd. it is a bit different from most other places. quite enjoyable!
