ALAMO HEIGHTS.
Enjoy a martini at ground level before ascending in the elevator to the dining area housed in this former silo. Thoughtfully-crafted dishes like scallop raviolis, mango-wasabi crab cakes, grilled and braised osso buco, and chicken-fried oysters (a local favorite) further distinguish Silo from other San Antonio establishments. If you're counting on chocolate soufflé cake for dessert, call ahead – sweets vary nightly.

The food is pretty good but Silo is a better late night watering hole than a feed lot. Lot of uppity cougars looking for it though

As my parents celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary :o), I wanted them to enjoy a delightful meal w/ a warm and romantic setting. I came across Silo while browsing the web. I then made a phone call for reservations...everyone that I spoke to (phoned a couple of times to be sure I had everything arranged!) were kind and very helpful. That was the cake, the icing was hearing the raves from my parents of their lovely evening. I sent them on w/ only map directions and the dress code!! They enjoyed every part of it. I appreciate the Silo staff making it a nite that they will always remember-for that, there truly is no price tag.

I held a dinner for six several months ago at the Silo Restaurant. I can only sing praises. Wonderful food, ambiance, and wine. I also can't complain about the price, very reasonable. I am currently in Lafayette, LA but at the time living in San Antonio. There's a good chance I will be dining there again shortly as I travel back to SA bi-monthly to visit family and friends. Great Experience!
