2. Crumpets Restaurant & Bakery

Took me by suprise
I finally got to check what the so-called hype was all about at Crumpets Restaurant and Bakery. I have always heard many good things about it and how wonderful their food and desserts were ( as i am a huge dessert fan). Many times i've passed by and i finally had to stop. I was greeted at the door and said how i had never been there, I was informed that Crumpets had been in operation for almost 30 yrs, had a full service bakery and one of the most beautiful patios in San Antonio. The little creek that flows through the property was dry (of course) but the restaurant itself was just gorgeous. So I sat and dinner. I was surprised to see such exotic meats on the menu like Bison New York Strip, Ostrich fillet but settled for the Duck breast. Awwww..... it was great. Prepared just perfect and the sauce that was served with the breast was superb. Not only did Crumpets offer a nice variety of wine by the glass but a beautiful wine list and full bar. This just might be my new favorite place, YOU PEOPLE HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT. Try the Crumpets Delight for dessert, (your in for a surprise)
