4. The Arrowhead

SAN BERNARDINO.   One of the Inland Empire's most identifiable landmarks, this unique formation stands on a mountainside overlooking San Bernardino and has been the subject of many legends through the years. The most famous is a Native American legend that tells how the Great Spirit used the giant arrowhead to mark the place where he wanted his people to settle. More than 1000 feet long and nearly 400 feet at its widest point, the Arrowhead is easily visible from several points in San Bernardino.   (© 10Best)
