CHERRY VALLEY. This estate-like museum, started by Edward Eberle and Dean Stout, began as a privately-held facility for the men to showcase their combined collections of European and Asian art, most of which date from the 16th to 19th centuries. The homey space, custom-designed by the founders, features rare and often priceless furniture, paintings, porcelain, crystal, and rugs. Surrounding the museum is a beautifully manicured, 16-acre campus. A must for art history buffs.
