7. Christmas in San Diego

The Buzz -- From late November through the holidays, a variety of season-celebrating activities takes place throughout the city. Although the best-known may be the Festival of Lights at Old Town's Bazaar del Mundo, you'll also find crafts, food, decorations and carolers at December Nights in Balboa Park, at La Jolla Christmas Parade and Holiday Festival, at Coronado Holiday Lights Walk and at the San Diego Bay lighted boat parade.
