6. MCAS Miramar Air Show

The Buzz -- Going strong for over 60 years, this air show is a local favorite that's held at the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, just north of San Diego. Attendees get a chance to see both civilian and military pilots in action, including performances by aerial acrobatic performers and of course, the stars of the show, the Blue Angels. Plenty of on-the-ground displays delight as well, as does the Consumer Fair and Kid Fun Zone. With free parking and general admission, this event (that's part of Fleet Week) just can't be beat.
