The Buzz -- “Thursdays on the Coast” (special one-time scheduling on "Black Friday") is a free community visual and performing art walk held the last Thursday of each month in the Village of Carlsbad. The evening will include original art in Carlsbad Village’s permanent galleries as well as, Village merchants and businesses acting as temporary “phantom” galleries. The event will host local and regional artists displaying their work throughout the Village, live art demonstrations, and ongoing music and theatre performances. This is a self-guided art walk on 27 November from 5:30 to 8:30pm. The program/maps will be available at The Foundry at New Village Arts, 2787 State St, and all participating venues in time for opening night. Inquire about the free gift raffle for some wonderful items from Village businesses and the silent auction of object d'art created expressly for "Thursdays on the Coast" by local and regional artists.
