LA JOLLA.   The Cookie Lady's snickerdoodles have been known to sway even the most stringent of Atkins adherents. She makes big, old-fashioned cupcakes that people drive miles to nab. Her brownies and lemon bars have been known to induce uncontrollable cravings. Loyal fans would prefer to keep this out of the way bakery/café to themselves, a hidden gem in La Jolla, but seek it out ... it's that good.
