3. Isabel's Cantina

PACIFIC BEACH.   The Cantina is among the top breakfast places in town, with good reason: banana blackberry pancakes, breakfast tamales, roast beef hash and eggs, and coconut French toast. As for lunch and dinner, the Asian-Latin fusion menu truly does have something for everyone. Try a bonsai burrito, lettuce wraps, plantains with carnitas, chicken prepared one of four ways (Asian, Latino, Dragon or Isabel style), or seared ahi. "Big Bowls," in themselves vegetarian, can have chicken, tofu, or beef added. Pineapple fried rice, udon noodles, and Brazillian style rice and beans are especially tasty.   (© 10Best)
