LA JOLLA.   Blue Coral, from the creators of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, excels on every front. The interior design is gorgeous, from mosaic walls to cobalt blue glassware – it’s all exceptionally pleasant to the eye and mind. The seasonal, seafood-centered menu might feature vodka-cured peppered salmon, yellowfin tuna with wasabi buerre blanc, Chilean sea bass with blood orange-butter sauce, or grilled mahi mahi with lemon caper aioli. Even dessert is superlative, and there are 60 wines by the glass, more than 70 vodkas (several infused in-house with fresh fruits and herbs), vodka flights, and unique cocktails.   (© 10Best)
