GASLAMP QUARTER.   People dart in hip and casual Café Lulu for lunch or a jolt of caffeine throughout the afternoon. As the evening descends, it takes on an arty, bohemian coffeehouse-at-night atmosphere: sticky desserts, sweet coffee concoctions, cold beer, and hookah. Even the American coffee is fantastic...like a super huge espresso, and served with a piece of chocolate. The sandwiches are extraordinary too.
