4. Buena Vista Cafe

We LOVE the Buena Vista!! We have visited San Francisco numerous times over the past 15+ years and no visit would be complete without breakfast at the Buena Vista. There is no better way to start the day than with a delicious breakfast and a couple of Irish Coffees. It's fun any time of day to drop in and relax. One of our very favorite spots in San Francisco! If you have never been you must go if in San Francisco; if you've been there before you know what I mean!

Can't beat the B.V. for a morning Irish Coffee.

Had at least 100 Irish there between 1989 and 1998... Like the potato peels and the St. Pauli Girl beer Enjoy!

This spot is as "San Franciscoish" as it gets! Expect to stand up cause it's ALWAYS mobbed, 3 and 4 deep at the bar. They're credited with inventing the Irish Coffee, although you'll get an argument when in Dublin. Great fun though, to watch the bartenders line up 15 to 20 glasses and mass produce them! Great view down Bay St. to the water, a must when in S.F.
