2. Ebisu

Ate like vikings!
I ate at Ebisu three or four times when attending Oracle Open World 2007 and 2008. Very, very fresh, tasty, and economical sushi. Two of us had a couple beers and "ate like vikings" for $50 :)

An atypical sushi bar with authentic & 'Western' sushi. Fish is very fresh and the sushi rice is excellent. The size of the rice parcels for nigiri is just right. Outside of Tokyo this is about as close as you are going to get for the real deal. I recommend taking a spot at the counter & let one of the fantastic chefs make it right in front of you. Great value for money too. Don't go anywhere else if you are into good sushi.
