5. La Maison du Café

This Los Gatos bistro serves traditional French cuisine in a dining area that is reminiscent of a French country home with its latticed walls, Impressionist artwork, candles and several plants. Owner/chef Noe Valdez offers truly sublime fish and seafood entrées, and his fillet of lamb covered with a Portobello sauce offers a nice alternative.
