5. Il Fornaio

The food was delicious; however, the service was terrible. What made the experience disappointing was our server SEAN P. From the beginning he was not friendly or helpful with the menu. He immediately removed our wine glasses assuming that we wanted none. He had to be asked twice for the oil and vinegar to dip our bread and he even put his entire hand on the plate we were going to eat out of. At the end of our meal my friend had her credit card out on the table while we waited for the bill. Sean then comes back and takes the card without asking and when we told him we weren't ready he threw the card back on the table and he hadn't even brought us the bill! I'm sorry but if I'm paying that much money to eat the service should be excellent. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Il Fornaio has been a delicious and friendly experience every time I've been there. Definitely worth a visit. Or ten.
