This museum boasts a stunning collection of over 1500 gold artifacts. In fact, it's one of the world's most noted collections of Pre-Columbian gold, with valuable coins, figurines, jewelry and more. On the second floor of the museum, guests are educated about the social and cultural aspects of the Pre-Columbian culture, while the third floor offers insight into the different uses for and meanings of a wide array of gold pieces. All of the gold pieces date from 500 – 1500 AD. A gift shop is located on site for those visitors looking for books and other mementos of their experience.
