7. Luquillo Beach

LUQUILLO.   This beach, located about 30 miles outside of San Juan, is worth the trip. It is a scenic and unspoiled area but very comfortable facilities are available. Changing rooms with lockers and showers, picnic tables and camping sites are available and refreshment stands and kiosks abound. Reefs protect the turquoise lagoon, keeping the waters calm for swimming or snorkeling. A special ramp runs directly into the water providing access for wheelchair users.   (© 10Best)
