4. San Juan International Billfish Tournament

The Buzz -- During late summer, the longest-running billfish (sailfish, marlin, and swordfish) tournament in the world is held in San Juan. Anglers from around the globe descend on the island to try for the largest catch. These sport fishermen, buoyed by adrenaline and competition, haul in huge specimens that can weigh hundreds of pounds each.
