The Buzz -- If you are visiting Puerto Rico in June, be sure to bring your swimsuit. The island's patron saint San Juan Bautista – or St John the Baptist – has his feast day during this month. According to local lore, walking backwards into the ocean three times at midnight guarantees "suerto," good luck in the upcoming year. This traditional plunge is the culmination of a week of festivities throughout the island. |
