MIRAMAR.   This art house theater has an interesting history. Originally opened as an "adults-only" venue in the 1960s, the owner went mainstream when public criticism became too much. The new format was a rousing failure so the owner went back to the tried-and-true adult movie genre. When video took over the porn industry, the theater turned to independent movies. To this day, it is the only true art house cinema on Puerto Rico.   (© 10Best)

Granted, it's the only place, other than the Film Festival once a year, where you can see foreign films outside the Hollywood. The owners could invest a little in ambiance and comfort.
