Here you can observe housewives crowding elbow-to-elbow bargaining for their daily bread or try a little haggling yourself – prices for the produce, flowers, meats and cheeses are notoriously flexible. Plan to stay for lunch. Excellent roast pork sandwiches and tropical fruit shakes are available at some of the stalls and small local cantinas.
