OLD SAN JUAN.
Ostra Cosa is for lovers... each item on the eclectic menu is rated for its effect as an aphrodisiac! You can order anything from burgers to fresh fish ceviche, but the giant grilled prawns are one of the house specialties. Or you might try the "Caribbean Viagra" otherwise known as seasoned, grilled conch. This cozy spot is located in a 16th-century colonial building in Old San Juan. To heighten your pleasure, be sure to sit in the back courtyard under the giant quenepe tree.

I have been traveling to San Jan Puerto Rico about twice a year for the past 10 years. I usually only go for 3 to 4 days a t a time so I tend to go to some of the same places when I go. This past February I was lucky enough to meet someone who told me about this restaurant. I had one of the most delightful experiences. Our waiter/owner was charming, helpful and the prices were extremely reasonable. The food was some of the freshest fish/seafood I have had in a long time.
The atmosphere was casual. We were a group of six people (including a 15 year old) in outside courtyard with a person playing the guitar.
I do love to go to a good steak house and check out the new-trendy restaurants, but I get those in NY
And San Juan has some amazing other restaurants, but this is the first one I have found that actually made you feel like you were in PR with amazing food. I can not wait to go back on my next trip.
I usually do not write reviews, and I may regret it since part of the charm is it really is an undiscovered place…

Tourist trap, overpriced. This place can't compare with the many other fine restaurants in Old San Juan...
