8. Nicolasa

Nicolasa is located on the second level of a tiny shop in Puerto Vieja (Old Town). The Nicolasa staff helps to make any visit here a pleasant experience, and the dining area itself is modern and cozy. Of course, the terrific food doesn't hurt their reputation either. The mainly Basque menu features a wide range of items, from reuvelto de mushrooms to salad and fish soup appetizers. Entrées include several beef and sole dishes.
