3. Arroyo Burro Beach County Park

SANTA BARBARA.   Not incredibly well-known by tourists, Arroyo Burro goes by another name with locals – Hendry's Beach. Nestled beneath bluffs and about ten minutes from downtown, the beach is beloved by those who don't need more than the intoxicating combination of sand and surf. However, you will find a restaurant, restrooms, a picnicking area, and limited free parking. Come here if you want to surf or frolic in the waves.   (© 10Best)
