8. Goleta Beach Park

GOLETA.   No matter what you come to the beach for, you're likely to find it here. Walking the beach, swimming in the surf, picknicking on the grassy shore, frolicking on the playground equipment, or even picking up a game of volleyball are all common practices with folks who frequent the beach. Pier fishing also attracts its share of fans, and food vendors can be found nearby. The expansive beach sometimes smells of oil, given local deposits, but it's a small price to pay for great beach-going.   (© 10Best)
