SANTA BARBARA.   When hunger pangs strike, folks flock to Palazzio for enormous portions and affordable prices. It's a restaurant best experienced with family or friends, given its ample servings, but it also welcomes individual diners with open arms. Pastas come in full or half sizes, are divided by type, and feature shrimp, artichoke hearts, roasted eggplant, pine nuts, and more. You may also want to try sweet marsala chicken, lasagna bolognese, or oven-roasted rosemary chicken. My wife and I had the most remarkable experience here. The place is lively and entertaining. The portions are huge and the staff is professional and fun. I don't know what the first review was talking about. We'd go again and tell others.

loud and busy. Unimaginative food served in enourmous portions. cheap (bad) wine by the glass. No locals found here.
