SANTA BARBARA.   Unbeatable harbor views issue a siren's call to patrons at this well-received restaurant. Of course, the ocean-fresh seafood doesn't hurt the cause either. Bustling and busy, Brophy Brothers serves up some of the city's most coveted clam chowder, along with awesome garlic baked clams and hefty portions of cioppino. Fresh, grilled fish is also highly prized, along with a host of other options. Outdoor dining is sublime, but you'll need to arrive early because weekend waits can reach two hours.   (© 10Best)

My wife and I have counted Brophy Bros. among our favorite places for years. The view is great, the service is always good and the seafood is in a class by itself. It's hard to describe the taste of fish and chips and make it sound different from anyplace else, but when the fish was caught hours before, believe me, it makes a difference. It's a definate "must" to treat yourself to lunch here when you visit Santa Barbara.
