WEST SANTA FE.   The Bandelier National Monument, a beautiful canyon 45 miles west of Santa Fe, was home to ancient Pueblos in AD 1100 to 1550. The area encompasses 65 miles of trails and abandoned Pueblo villages. A beautiful look at the history of the region.   (© 10Best)

… $10/car. This gives you admission for everyone in your car over a 6 day period. It's well worth the price. The ancient pueblos are fascinating. If you like to hike, plan to spend 2-3 days here as there are many interesting trails not on the main visitors loop.
