1. Thirsty Ear Festival

The Buzz -- Started in 1999, the Thirsty Ear Festival has continued to grow and is now considered New Mexico's finest. The genre-busting event features dozens and dozens of performers on three stages playing blues, folk, bluegrass, alt-country and more. Well-known artists draw big crowds every year, and past festivals have featured musicians such as Patty Griffin, Bob Margolin, Greg Brown, Chipper Thompson, Iris Dement, The Be Good Tanyas and Bone Orchard. The JW Eaves Movie Ranch is a unique and fun Southwestern setting, and there are plenty of activities and food, beverage and craft vendors to keep the entire family happy for the whole weekend.
