2. La Mesa of Santa Fe

The three little rooms at La Mesa are packed with the work of some 70 artists. You're sure to find something here to buy, whether it's Peggy Potter's Vermont hand-painted, hardwood bowls, Duane Dahl's handmade slouched glass-and-rock bowls, or Max and Dorothy Hand's aspen stools topped with hand-painted, deerskin pillows. Mary Larson has run this gallery for 12 years, and she's got great taste in ceramics, glassware, furniture, dog bowls, light fixtures, paintings and on and on.   (© 10Best)
