SANTA MARIA.   The signature restaurant of Santa Maria's Radisson Hotel, this elegantly appointed place offers tables with terrific views of the surrounding countryside and of Hancock Field's landing strips. Vintner's menu features an array of classic American steak and seafood dishes, as well as Northern Italian-influenced fare. The wine list, meanwhile, bears a local theme, featuring scores of Santa Barbara County labels. Dinner reservations are suggested.   (© 10Best)

Great food. Great service. Best Prime Rib I've had in a long time. The wine list was exceptional. We had a window table with a great view. We will be back!

I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Maria on business, home of Vintner's Grill. I was very suprised, considering the lack of patrons, the food was exceptional. I had all my meals there. The view was breathtaking. The winelist was local but had many selections. I plan on returning with my wife for a romantic get away.

We (wife and I) visited the Vintners Grill a few years ago and found very few people dining there. The food was okay, and the wine list outstanding. We visited again recently, and were the only people in the entire restarant. The waitress disappeared several times, with no staff in the diningroom anywhere to be seen. The feeling was extremely uncomfortable. With such a low number of patrons, I question the quality of ingredients going into preparing my meal. Poor service. Zero patrons. Uncomfortable ambiance. Questionable quality. ~Santa Maria Local
