3. Boca Chica

Although it's approximately 20 miles outside of Santo Domingo, Boca Chica serves as the area's most popular destination for lounging in the sun and enjoying Caribbean waters. The beach is protected by a coral reef, subduing waves and currents so swimmers can have pleasant, safe dips. This beach is very dirty and trashy. The beach itself is very small and packed with locals. Parking is a joke and you get swarmed with locals trying to sell you things. I wouldn't recomend this beach at all.
