When Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo sat down for meals in the mid-20th century, he relished the creative expertise of Spanish-born chef Lina Aguado. Eventually, she opened her own restaurant, which still serves some of the country's most sought after entrées. Dishes like "Paella Valenciana" and "Cazuela de Mariscos" keep diners whispering excitedly about the fantastic restaurant, and entrées like sea bass and roasted lamb are tastefully prepared with the island's best spices.   (© 10Best)
