The Wanuskewin Heritage Park uses an authentic, hands-on on approach to interpret the history and culture of the Northern Plains Indians. An exciting archeological dig is in progress at Wanuskewin divulging artifacts evidencing over 6000 years of human habitation. If you're game, you can spend the night in a traditional tipi complete with a First Nations styled meal.
