HISTORIC DISTRICT.
A tiered, cast-iron fountain is the focal point of this lovely 30-acre park. The fountain, purchased from France in 1851, was also featured in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Forsyth Park itself is a great place to take a walk, snap a few photos, or have a picnic. If the weather is nice, you'll see people playing frisbee or rugby all around. Also available: a pleasant playground for the kids.

Take some time to stroll around the park's beautiful fountain created in 1858. (from Southern Living)

You absolutely have to stop here to see the fountain, and if your a midnight in the garden of good and evil fan, it's a must. If i lived in Savannah i'd be walking my dog here everyday. The park gets real hot in the summer sun, but in fall, winter, and spring it's breath taking.

This is by far one of my favorite places in Savannah. It is exactly one mile around so jogging is really easy here and the park is so pretty with all the Spanish moss and then all the old Victorian homes lining the surrounding streets. I run and play tennis there daily - it's safe and gorgeous...great place to meet people with puppies!
