Suddenly Savannah
For an entire generation of Americans, Savannah is defined by its St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Not surprising given that the city's parade and festivals draw close to a million revelers each year. And yet, there's far more going on here than bodhran beats and mass partying. These images of moss-draped oaks and antebellum homes, of friendly shops and outdoor restaurants, convey the promise of deeper, more lasting pleasures. See for yourself why this beautiful old town continues to be one of the treasures of the New South.
