RIVERFRONT.   Lots of wood and brick, along with a goodly supply of beer memorabilia and neon, give Bernie's casual appeal. The laid-back place occupies what was once a warehouse, and the historic charm is still there. It's a favorite hang-out of locals, who appreciate lots of sports on the telly, live music and a raw bar. The drinks of choice are cold beer and their signature Bloody Marys, punched up with lime, celery salt and pickled okra. Complementing them beautifully are a menu of pub fare and seafood.
